Mr Neil William Westcott

Neil is a Canadian who was born and raised in Toronto. He has a bachelor degree from the University of Guelph, Ontario and a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He holds primary/junior teaching credentials, an ESL specialist designation, and principal qualifications with the Ontario College of Teachers. In 2016, Neil earned a Professional Master in Education from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Neil has worked in education for almost twenty years. He began his career in Canada as a classroom teacher and has held many different roles while working in several countries in Asia and the Middle East. He has established language development courses for students and staff and language instruction has always been a priority for him. Neil has extensive experience working in IB schools and with inquiry learning.
Neil believes in the importance of holistic education. He has supported many different educational initiatives in schools where he has worked. Building intramural programs, developing, supporting and running experiential trips, setting up and running House systems, and establishing Reading Buddies programs are some of his achievements.
