As sister school of Dulwich College International schools, students and teachers of Dehong have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers in Dulwich College International schools, and benefit from Dulwich College International initiatives. Through such activities and events, we are able to further reinforce the importance of sportsmanship, creativity and leadership. In addition, we are also able to create a community that encourage academic excellence, emphasise on creation and innovation, and embrace diversity.
Annual group events that Dehong student scan participate in include Diversity, the Dulwich Festival of Music, Shakespeare Festival, Shackleton lectures and more. Dehong students are able to compete with and learn alongside students within the network, forging life-long friendships and enriching their overall learning experience.
The Dulwich Festival of Music, hosted by a different school each year, offers students workshops with teachers and professional musicians, ending with an evening gala concert.
Diversity is a series of events that brings world class practitioners from the visual and performing arts to facilitate workshops and master classes with our students. We partner with the Royal Northern College of Music, Berklee College of Music, University of Auckland Dance Group and more.
Commemorating Old Alleynian and renowned explorer Ernest Shackleton, this lecture series features leading explorers speaking to our students about grit, determination and courage.
The International Schools Choral Music Society (ISCMS) was set up to give students the opportunity to perform in a professional venue under the instruction of world-renowned musicians.
Every four years students from all Dulwich College International schools and the founding school meet to compete in sports and to perform music and drama together.
