2nd November, The Dance Studies at the University of Auckland (UoA), as one of the Diversity series, visited Dehong to teach creative dance workshops to Grade 3 to 7 students.
The Dance Studies programme at the University of Auckland is highly regarded in New Zealand and internationally as a centre of research and practice. 11 final year students provided our students with opportunities to explore their body movement potential through various dance styles focusing on balance, strength and rhythm.
The aim of the dance workshop was not only to gave student unique dance experience through both physical and intellectual practices, but to see what dance can offer as whole in education.
