From the 23rd to the 26th of October, all students in Dehong participated in The Big Draw Festival creating images on the theme of “Living Lines”.
Grade 1 to Grade 3 students drew the shape of their body on a life sized page, moving their arms and legs in different motions, like an angel. They then coloured in their shape with images and colours, giving meaning to their favourite colours, interests and hobbies. While Grade 4 to Grade 7 students worked in groups of four on designing life-sized wings.
After the festival, each of these drawings was photographed in stop-go-motion to create an animated movie of the whole school in motion - Living Lines!
