An Amazing Journey to the Neighbourhood Earth

Thousands of people have been exploring space for decades, trying to find the answer to such questions as what's out there? how do we get there? what will we find? what can we learn there, or learn just by trying to get there, that will make life better here on Earth?

6 November, Dehong's Grade 5 to 7 students started an amazing journey at Neighbourhood Earth exhibition which is an exclusive, interactive, immersive experience of travelling through the solar system in partnership with NASA’s George C. Marshall Space Flight Center.

The exhibition gives the students the opportunity to zoom through the solar system with a 360-degree cinematic experience along with the spacecraft and robotics that explore our celestial neighbourhood, and further our knowledge of the worlds around us.

As NASA's vision goes, we reach for new heights and reveal the unknown for the benefit of humankind. It showcases the importance of space science to the next generation of explorers. We hope our students remain curious about outer space, engage themselves in Aeronautics and space science.
